You guessed it, my Tigers are still in the CWS.

Game time today: 1:00.

LSU handed Arkansas their first loss of the CWS on Monday, and then the Hogs kept from being eliminated on Wednesday to now face LSU once again today.

If we win, it's off to the championship series...if we lose, we get to play AR-Kansas once again.

As you know by now, LSU is in Omaha playing in the CWS. Saturday I posted a "Game Day" post...well, LSU won and so now, I will have to place a "Game Day" post each day they play, in order to keep the meaux-jeaux right.

Laugh, roll your eyes if you must, but every regional game and super regional game (except for the one game we watched at LSU) we have been at Big Mike's house to watch the tigers play...well, Saturday, we had a few extras come watch with us and not everyone was in their original seat...So when the tigers fell behind 4-3 in the fifth, we got a little rude and told some people to move their butts...we had to get in OUR seats...ya know, the ones we sat in when the tigers won!! So we played a quick game of musical chairs and all was right with the baseball gods and low and behold...Sean Ochinko hits a three -run homer and the rest as they say, was history...TIGERS WIN!!! 9-5!! So, sorry to bore you, but you will be getting a game day post for as long as it works!!

Love this pic...blue skies... football stadium in the background..with the sign for the national championships in football and then the flags blowing in the wind with the baseball national championships....ahhhh it gives me chills!!

Ok, back to the post...as previously posted Andy and I scored tickets to the first game in the LSU v Rice Super Regional on Friday night...this was my first post season baseball game to attend!!

We got out to campus around 3:3o and set up our two-man tailgate! We parked in the back of the main free parking lot under some trees next to other tailgaters....not really sure what that oil rig thingy is in the background?!?!?! In the distance, you can see the new LSU softball stadium.

The weather Friday was perrrrrfect!! High 80, low humidity & a great breeze!

Our Seats.....6th ROW!!! It was amazing!!

Dawg Days of Summer....

Ashlyn and Brooklyn

Ashlyn and Brooklyn are the twin daughters of Big Mike...and Ashlyn is my Goddaughter (but I claim both of them). This past week, I had the joy of making it to their last softball game of the season.

Brooklyn- Ashlyn

Their little team took first place in the league!!! They are great ball players...they play right and left center field (you get two center fielders in 9-10 yr old softball). I can't believe they will be nine this Saturday!!! Seems like it was just yesterday when I would go up to the NICU to rock them and feed them right after they were born!! We will be at their bowling b-day party this weekend...hopefully I can get some good pics to share!
