Sunday Fun day with Daddy!

Have you kept up with the weekend....prom, birthday parties, more prom and Easter activities at church....this momma is tired!! Andy (who have I mentioned is awesome??) shooed me away to my room when we got home this afternoon and suggested a nap....ok, if you twist my arm! :)  Leah and I napped...me longer than Leah and Andy entertained the girls.  A little chalk, bubbles and great weather outside makes for a great Sunday Fun day!

Now...to make it through a four day week before Easter/Spring break.  I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!!

Eggstravaganza!!!

After a very long night at prom, we are up and at 'em for church this morning!  Lots of fun activities planned for the little ones.
Pre-church pictures.

Azaleas....as good as putting eggs in your basket.

Finally two sweet faces looking at me.

First up....Easter Hat Parade through the sanctuary.  This is the first time Sarah has had the courage to participate.  We were all pretty excited for her.  Small milestone in her overcoming her shyness.

Sarah and the "hat maker" Grandma!

Big smiles...a little nervous.

Here they come!  All so cute.

And the first time around is done!  Super proud of our Sarah!!
After church, we all headed out to our new church property for the 10th annual Eggstravaganza!  It's so awesome to see actual work being done on the property....the new church will be here before we know it!
Spin Art....I loved doing this as a kid!

Sarah was so excited that Abby and Ms. Nicole joined us for the fun!!  After this picture, we didn't see the two girls again except for when it was time to eat!  They took off to the inflatables and were having a blast!

Tried to get a picture with Leah too...she wasn't having it!

LOVE this picture!! So rarely do Leah and I get a picture by ourselves!!  And she's actually smiling!!

Stop.  Smile. Play.

such a great turn out!

Ready to listen to the devotional.
Andy and Nicole went with the big girls and I stayed back with Leah so sadly I do not have any pictures of Sarah and Abby hunting eggs.  But lots of cute pics of Little Leah's first egg hunt.

Look, another picture of the top of Leah's head. Haha!

Such a fun afternoon!  Love this event put on by our church.

Prom Saturday

Another year....another Prom!  Romance in Paris is our theme this year, which had me saying "we-we" all week and Mrs. Page asking me if I had to go to the bathroom. :)  It's a long week for all of us including Andy and the girls.

Getting our decoration on...
Wednesday and Thursday we stay pretty late decorating and then Friday is an all day decorating event with an afternoon break.  I took that time to go home and get some time with my kiddos.

Sarah May...tree climbing.

Leah Peah working on her "Cheeeeeessssseee!"
Back to North Park gym to finish this thing Romance up.
17 ft Eiffel Tower...made of cardboard!
Saturday is the actual day of the dance.  But first, there are birthday parties to attend!  Sarah's friend Presley had her 5th bday party with her brother Colton at their house just down the street.  While Leah and I finished up a nap, they headed down to the party and we joined them later.
Emeri, Sarah, Presley and Colton

Leah and Colton having fun at the sand table.
And then back to Prom!  Being the "Prom Manager" we get to the prom around 7:30 and after clean up finish the night around 2:30 am.  Ahhh the days when staying up until the early hours of morning didn't take its toll on a girl.  Long. Gone. Ha!
Mrs. Page and I....making Prom's together for 14 years now.
HUGE shout out to Andy....Thank you so much for being so awesome!  Love you!

5th Sunday

FBC DS uses the 5th Sunday as an outreach day our church.  Today our Sunday school class will be visiting a local neighborhood to extend invitations to our Easter Eggstravaganza next weekend.  This Sunday, is also my rotation for leading the 4 and 5 year olds with Michelle.  Sarah loves when we are in their class and I really like being able to be apart of her Sunday mornings at church.
Big smiles in her new spring dress. Girl loves clothes!

Seriously could eat this little face up!!

Sweet girls in the 4/5 yr old class. Back: Emma, CeCe, Taylynn, Ainsley.  Front: Kendall, Kyleigh, Sydney, Sarah and Addison

Sarah's Birthday Party!

This year we decided to have Sarah's party away from the house. I will admit, I was a little nervous not having complete control of the situation and a little sad that we have temporarily moved away from parties at the house.  I do love to plan a party and this year it was just scaled down a bit. Sarah's party this year was at a local place that we have visited a number of times for birthday parties and just to visit...Pretend, Play, Party.  The staff was wonderful and made our first party away from home a great experience!!  And surprisingly, the Friday night party time worked out perfect!
Of course we went with the Frozen theme...it's a must if you are a little girl!

Sweet sisters waiting on the party to start.
