Halloween

Halloween!! YES!! Y'all. Everything this year that has been a normal event has been up in the air as to whether or not it would happen. We are so grateful for any and all parts of our "normal" life to be celebrated.  We are learning big lessons here in never taking anything for granted.  To keep an attitude of gratitude! So let's do this!! TRICK OR TREAT!!!

Uncle Dave becomes a Sig Tau

The brothers of Sigma Tau Gamma inducted Uncle Dave into the fraternity this evening. The Sig Tau's have been a big part of our family for many, many years and I am so thankful that my dad was able to form this bond with these great group of men during his days at Southeastern Louisiana University. Tonight was a special night, and I am glad we were able to be there.

Fall Fest @ FBCDS

We pulled out the old Monster's Inc decorations for this year's Fall Fest at church. Another piece of normalcy that we were all looking forward to.  We had a great turn out and great weather. We love this yearly event.

LSU v South Carolina

You just can't keep us out of Tiger Stadium during football season. Friends of ours had tickets to share for the game today versus South Carolina.  Let's be honest. It's been a terrible football season for the defending national champs, but we still love our Tigers and were excited to get to go to a game.  Leah was spending the night with a friend so Sarah was able to invite Sadie to go to the game with her. We had a great time...even with all of the changes that took place for the game to happen.

Boo @ the Zoo

Yay for Boo at the Zoo and some normalcy. It has been decided by the government agencies that outdoor events are ok and do not pose a high risk of covid. So we are here for alllll the outdoor activities!
We ran into the O'Neals while we were there. Which is only fitting because we've done this event with them many times in the past. Kinsley and Keaton were Boo at the Zoo ready.
