Photo Drop

We noticed during VBS that Leah was having trouble reading the offering numbers up on the stage. I took her to the eye doctor and sure enough she needs some help seeing. Welcome to the club kid!

We made some encouraging signs for our friend Michelle Carlton as she starts her battle with breast cancer. You got this!

Amelia came over to give Sarah some smiles in her recovery.

Sarah's Knee Surgery

Today is surgery day for Sarah. They will be removing the bone fragment that is stuck in the patella tendon. Hopefully this will give her some relief. Sarah has been so brave through all of this and taking it all in stride.
Physical Therapy started up just days after surgery and she did great getting the process started. For now, lots of rest and PT. And try to get ready to start school in a week in a half.

PBC Day 6

Last day. We decided on a day at the Young's hotel pool and the some more time at the beach before we headed home. Soaking up every bit we can before we have to leave. It was another amazing week on the Emerald Coast.

PCB Day 5

We took the day today to be a little lazy. Slept in and just stayed at our condo beach. We had planned on dinner out tonight later with the Young's and some sunset family pictures.

Yep. More ice cream. I told you, it just tastes better at the beach.

PCB Shell Island

Last year we talked about going to Shell Island. You can either rent a boat and go out there yourself, or you can go with a tour boat of sorts. Faron and I researched it over and over and Faron decided on renting a pontoon boat for the day. The kids (and adults) were all very excited. Chrisie and I made the mistake of checking the weather...and it didn't look good. We may have been on edge...just a little. lol
Rainbow looking out our balcony this morning.

Ready for the adventure.

Faron on point with the vacay t-shirt.

Yep, Cole fell asleep on the boat.

We found a spot to put the anchor down and that's all she wrote. The kids were in the water and searching for all the things.

Look at that slide! So fun!.

Leah caught a fish!

We headed over to the other side of the island where we had the place to ourselves!

It was also freezing! In the water was warmer than being out of the water due to the storm forming and all of the winds.

Sarah sells seashells by seashore in her seashell swimsuit on Shell Island. ;)

Welp! It found us. What a storm. It was little scary there for a bit. We didn't have anywhere to go but the boat. So we hunkered down and waited out the storm.

Sarah was such a good big sister. Leah was so scared. She hates thunderstorms and here we were sitting out in the middle of one. Sarah kept her calm and allowed Leah to bury her head inside to Sarah's towel while Sarah kept her close.

After an adventurous day on the water, we were all hungry! Found a great pizza place near the dock and we filled up.

And then ice cream, of course!

Finished the night at the condo crab hunting and filling the night with laughs.
