Daddy/Daughter Date Day

Andy was off today for Memorial Day.  He decided to take Sarah on a date to The Movie Tavern.  She's been begging to go since Andy and I last went.  I'm pretty sure she was super excited about The Movie Tavern, but also about having daddy all to herself!

Last Crawfish Boil....maybe.

I'm thinking this might be the last crawfish boil of the season.  But you never know.  Back at the Denicola's today for a Memorial Day family and friend crawfish boil.  We had originally planned to have it at our house, but it's best if Colton stays at his house.  And of course we were all fine with that!

Soooo.....Uncle Jeff is buying a HOUSE!!!! WHAT!?!?!  It's in Walker and it's just perfect for him!  This morning, Jeff and mom made an appointment with the realtor so mom could see the house (she's been out of town).  Wellll mom invited me, I had to bring the girls because Andy had to work, but then Andy got home just as we were about to leave and well, we all ended up going to see the house! Yep! We are all in your business Jeff and we love it!

Ten Years!!

Ten years!  A few things have changed...my grey hairs, your lack of hair, two amazing daughters (we can blame our hair issues on them), but one thing that hasn't changed is my love for you!!!! Here's to many, many more years of love and laughter!

Last Day of School

Last day of carpool today.  Emma has asked that her mom bring her the very last day of elementary for her at Northside.  I guess we can go with that.

We sure are going to miss our daily commute with Emma!  Thanks for making kindergarten a little less scary!

Sarah couldn't resist my clean board when she came to my classroom this afternoon.  I admit...I like it!

Way back when earlier in the semester, the students were suppose to go on a little field trip to a carnival at one of the other local elementary schools.  Due to all of the rain and what not, that activity was cancelled.  Northside was able to have the carnival come to them on the last day of school.  So much fun!! It was like being in Grease. Ha!  They students played during the day and after school, the carnival was open to the public.  Sarah and I left school and went to pick up Andy so he could join us.  The plan was to get a little fun in before we needed to go get Leah from daycare. Shhhh...don't tell her.

Magic carpets...all to herself.  Us along with some other teacher's kids were the only ones there for the longest time.  It was nice!

It was crazy hot at the carnival...I mean after all it was on a concrete parking lot. But we had a great time.  Got a snowball, sat in the shade for a bit and then headed to get Leah. A super fun way to end the school year.

Sarah's Kindergarten Graduation

WOW! That was fast!! Kindergarten...done!  Sarah had an amazing year of kindergarten.  And just as we were getting it all figured out, it was over!  Today was her graduation at school.  I was able to take the day off, Andy was able to meet us in between things at work and grandma was actually home to attend ;).

They were told to decorate their picture with their favorite parts of kindergarten.  YAY math!!

After graduation, Andy had to head back to work.  So us girls headed to the bowling alley to make it a day of fun.  Sarah was pretty sure it was going to be a great time, after all, she's great at Wii bowling! Ummm yeah.

End of the Year Crawfish Boil

We had some teacher friends over to celebrate the end of the school year with a crawfish boil.  Not many pictures taken...we are tired teachers y'all!  But we did have a great time...and we all know that's what counts!
