May ...Shutdown Continues

The weather has been AH MAZING and we have been taking full advantage of it. We've been spending a good bit of time on the hammock which by the way is the best purchase ever!! And then a little inflatable pool time that didn't last long after Heidi had a splash around in it and put a nice hole in it. Oh well. Fun while it lasted. Add in some slime, baking and NASA and we've been keeping ourselves pretty relaxed and entertained.

 

Edmond Corona-cation day 2

 Love the time the girls get to spend with their cousins making great memories. Andy and Grammy had a guitar jam session which was very impressive!! We all enjoyed it. Fun times. 

Edmond Corona-cation

 Next stop...Edmond. Had some great fun with the cousins and Grammy and Papa. And since poor Syd and Sarah didn't get to celebrate their spring birthdays, we did today! 

Duncan Corona-cation

 School is officially over so we headed to Oklahoma for a quick getaway. I know. We are supposed to staying at home but there is only so much of that we can do.  We aren't going to large crowded areas and we are being careful with washing hands and wearing masks. And time spent in Duncan is always good for the soul. 

Leah's Kindergarten Graduation

Sadly, with school still shutdown, Leah did not get to have a Kindergarten graduation. She did get to go to school to turn in her books and gather whatever was left in the room when the left in March and Mrs. Frizell made these cute little signs for the to take a picture with at school.  And she colored a cap and gown.  We are super proud of our girl having a great first year of real school. She did great in Kindergarten!

 

Slippin' and Slidin'

 What a fun day!!! Still trying to find ways to stay entertained while at home...The Carroll's got a great deal on a waterslide and invited us over to play. The girls had a blast! I even tried it. Boy was that funny. And then to top off the day Sweet Rolls came to the neighborhood so we got some ice cream. Sun kissed cheeks and ice cream...doesn't get much better. 

Headed Home

As much as we'd like to stay for the entire time of the shutdown...we must go home.  We stopped this morning for breakfast on our way out at Brick and Spoon.  It was delicious. And then the excitement happened...A flat tire. boooo! So we made our way to some tire shop place in Foley, AL and got it repaired and got back on the road. We were so thankful that it happened before we got on the interstate!!

It was a great trip, but as always, it's nice to be home. 

 

Orange Beach Day 3

Another great day at the beach!! Again, Andy stayed in for a while for work...we beached.  We went to the very popular ice cream store, The Yard. Wow. So. Much. Ice. Cream. It was yummy and fun! 

And then ended the night looking for crabs. I guess because it is still so cool at night, there just weren't very many to be found. It turned out to be a true hunt! But we were successful in the end. We love the beach life!!!!
