A little throw back of me and mike and jeff.

Leah and Rosalie are in her room. Heidi patiently waits outside for her human. Sweet pup!

Halloween

We have grown to really love Halloween in our neighborhood. Sadie joined us tonight and she and Sarah had a great time.  Leah of course met up with Rosalie and we hit the street. It felt so good to be back doing normal things, like Trick or Treating. :) Sarah and Sadie ran into some DSJH friends too while we were out.

DSJH Basketball Begins

Sarah's first basketball game for DSJH...well ever! She is a little nervous and a little excited all in one. Super proud of all of the hard work she's put in at this point in her basketball journey.  From summer workouts to daily grind at practice, she is learning so much. And shhhh...don't tell, but she just might be falling in love with the game. She will be dressing out and playing on the 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams.  Go Jackets!

Red Ribbon Week

It's Red Ribbon Week..or by now you know it as Wed Wibbon Week! Oh and Halloween week! Fun times! Sweet Leah...as big as her personality it, you would think she'd love to get dressed up on these dress up days. She started out decades day in the poodle skirt that has been passed down to us from the Carroll girls and worn by Sarah. We started the morning in the skirt...she left for school in her uniform.  Maybe next year we will try it again. The rest of the week was a success. And she totally rocked her Olivia costume for book character day! Such a fun week of school

Family Blitz -LIVE!

So the best way to describe this other than a church version of a Nickelodeon show that Andy and I used to watch as kids:"Double Dare" is to grab it off of the event's website. So here it is:

"FamBlitz Live is a crowd participation show that we bring to your venue. With the theme of inspiring families to think like a team, parents and kids participate on stage and from their seats in a variety of games and challenges. A Biblical message is woven in throughout games and crowd challenges with no dedicated preaching time. That means never a moment where the crowd is asked to simply sit and listen. And because FamBlitz Live is a high energy event that the whole family can enjoy, it’s great as an outreach opportunity to families in your community. With a unique blend of music, visual effects, original games and crowd energy, this is the easiest event you will ever host."

And this mama was super excited. My family....well, they came around. :)
Here we go!! Girls...we are getting on that stage, so get ready!

Andy's face...hahahahaha!!

Happy Mama! We won!!
