Photo Drop

Apparently Leah likes hanging out in the kennel more than Heidi does.

Happy Birthday Keaton.

Uncle Jeff at summer camp for the National Guard...Yep. He has to wear a mask. Outside. In the heat.

How impressive is this set up that our friends and neighbors, the Denicola's made.  The kids love it!

Leah's New Room

You know when your a parent and you say "yeah, maybe" and then the kid takes it as "yes!" Well. That is Leah and I alllll the time. haha. Early in the shutdown, we painted Sarah's room. And then Leah wanted her room painted.  "Maybe we can before school starts." School starts in about a week. Here we are and Leah of course doesn't forget that "maybe".  Here we are painting her room. She was a super happy little girl.  :)

Say Cheese!

Leah and Rosalie!  These two and their friendship is just too sweet. Ro came over today for a playdate and the girls found that Leah had two of the same shirts (this happens when you are the second kid and you get all the hand-me-downs ;) So the girls dressed as twins and big sister Sarah offered to take their pictures.  Sweet girls...all of them.

Kids Camp Day 4

We are feeling so blessed that we were able to go to camp this summer...in the middle of a pandemic. God blessed our trip and we had a great time.  And I don't think we are really upset that we had the whole place to ourselves.  We can't wait to go back next summer!!

Kids Camp Day 3

Another day of lots of fun, growing in our walk with Christ and team building.  This property in Mississippi is just beautiful.  We started the morning with braided hair, breakfast and bible study. Then we split up and each group got a shot at the mind challenging obstacle course.  It was so fun watching the kids work together to break the codes and make it through the challenge.  Then after a day of fun, we headed back to chapel.  We are having too much fun!

Kids Camp Day 2

Day two...here we go!
We started the day off with a great breakfast. Funny story about the lunchroom.  There is a shortage of hand sanitizer in the country right now. So some of the distilleries are making hand sanitizer. Well.  It stinks. SOOOO bad. But in order to enter the lunchroom, we all had to use hand sanitizer to keep safe. We all dreaded it but it became a joke of sorts. I eventually brought my own better smelling hand sanitizer to share with our group.
Then we moved to our worship session for the day. And of course games to go with it. Then we would rotate around the campground based on our team color.  Sarah and I were on Team Blue.

Our first stop was the obstacle course. Man was this thing awesome! And a crazy challenge. Even us adults had to get involved to help with the numbers  I was super proud of myself for finishing lol. I really enjoyed watching Sarah compete and work through the course. What a great experience for the kids. The rest of the day had us moving to different areas and also some free time which Sarah loved canoeing and then GaGa ball. Another great day!!

Kids Camp Day 1

Eeek!! We are going to summer church camp!! Sarah and I are both so excited!! We couldn't go last year because I was working summer school and the dates didn't work for us. But we are ready to go this year. And then the pandemic hit. CentriKid cancelled all of their camps for the summer.  There was a moment there where we didn't think we were going to get to go to camp.
But our amazing church and children's minister, Niki Allen made it happen!! We rented out the campsite, Timber Creek for the week and had the whole place to ourselves. Ms. Niki created a curriculum and schedule for us and was amazing in making sure the kids got to go! We are so excited about this week and are ready to get on the bus!

So much rain on the way, but we are smiling behind these masks.

Oh my goodness! We made it and it's beautiful!!

Sarah, Emma, Gracie and Addalyn

Headed straight to the canoes and loved it!!

Our verse for the week. And our theme

I'm not sure there are more things that are more fun than GaGa ball.

That's a wrap on day one.  So much fun!!
