NYE

After a late night for everyone, well all enjoyed the slow pace of the morning.  Today was another super cold day in Keller, TX at the Meiser's house.  The plan was to try and entertain ourselves as much as possible while indoors!

The adults took over the table for some card games. 

Leah took on make up duties....she "helped" Aubrey and Anna get ready for the day.   They were such good sports.  And Leah was super proud of herself.  Sarah had the big girls do her makeup, not trusting her little sister. Ha!

Wait? What!?  Kristy and Smokey surprised us with a knock at the door.   They flew in this morning and are staying for the night to celebrate NYE with us.  We were all super excited and surprised to see them!

NYE....Eve

With New Year's Day falling on a Monday, we had the opportunity to head to Texas to celebrate the new year with our friends up north for the weekend. The weather was playing around with ice/wintery mix for the weekend, so after a double check with a better weather forecast predicted, we were ready to go! We were all looking forward to the short get away and love a road trip. 

A fun stop at Buc-ee's is always a welcomed travel treat!
