Best school fundraiser ever! The DSHS band sold plates of boiled crawfish. It was delicious!!

We loved getting to watch Gabe and JV play in their Oklahoma state basketball championship online.  We even saw Grammy and Papa on TV.

Leah, Mike and a Bike!

Leah was still struggling with learning to ride a bike.  She didn't want to hear anymore suggestions from Andy, Sarah or myself. In steps Uncle Mike.  Leah adores her Uncles and when Uncle Mike visits she loves to spend time with him. Luckily Mike was up to the challenge to helping Leah to learn how to ride her bike.  He had some really great techniques for teaching a person how to ride. He is the bike guru in the family as he really enjoys mountain bike riding and so he knows all kinds of cool things about bikes. 

They started with balance on the bike. Then moved to more movement on the bike.  Uncle Mike even gifted Leah with some elbow and knee pads which really helped in her confidence.  And then off she went! She is so proud of herself and I love that her memory of learning to ride a bike was with Uncle Mike teaching her!  Go Leah Go!!

 

Sarah's Birthday Weekend - Saturday

We loved having Grammy, Papa and Annie in town for Sarah's birthday weekend.  The kids enjoyed the park, getting their nails done and just spending time with each other. Cousin time is the best time!! Happy birthday weekend Sarah! We love you!!

 

Family Crawfish Birthday Boil

One of the many great things about Sarah is that her birthday falls in the heart of crawfish season! YAY! We love the yearly "Sarah's Birthday Crawfish Boil" and it is so fun when we have the whole family together! This year Mike brought and authentic piñata from New Mexico!! Super cool! The day was filled with lots of family fun, crawfish, basketball and a piñata! Happy Birthday Sarah!
