Happy Birthday Amelia!! We so EXCITED that you are here!!! And to be born on your great grandmother's birthday and you now carry her middle name as your middle name.  So super special!! We can't wait to love on you and spoil you and have loads of fun with you!! We love you so much!!

 

Tie Dye

Tie -die is hard y'all! We have tried it once or twice before and I have just decided that you can't make them like you see in the stores or in the "how to" videos we watch. Maybe we just need more practice...lots more practice. haha. But we had a great time making shirts, headbands and scrunchies! Rosalie joined us in the fun.  In the end, our shirts came our better than our previous attempts, for sure! And the smiles make up for all of the mess. :) 

 

Hiking Again...

Off to another hike! This time it was a little bit a drive. We ended up at BREC's Kendalwood Road Conservation Area. Again, we had a great time.  We really enjoy getting outside and an adventure!

Hiking Fun at BREC

Andy has found these great little treasures in the Baton Rouge Recreation system.  Walking/hiking trails and paths. The girls were super excited about the adventure. I was willing to try it out. But in the end, I really enjoyed it. We bundled up and headed to BREC's Frenchtown Conservation Area in Central, which is just a short drive from where we live. We had so much fun! 

 

New Year's Day

New Day...New Year! Let's go!!! We try to make sure we get our black eyed peas, cabbage and pork in for a healthy, lucky and prosperous year ahead.  And you gotta love a South Louisiana "winter"...we enjoyed a great walk in some beautiful weather.  Trying to start a new routine of walking regularly.
