30 Weeks!

Oh yeah, I am pregnant!  It's amazing how different the second pregnancy is...no really!  I look back at the blog when I was pregnant with Sarah and I was constantly updating doctors appointments, moods, you name it.  Now, I can barely keep track of when my last appointment was and what exactly happened while I was there.

But the good news is that there is no news to report on this pregnancy- and for that, we are very thankful!  My blood pressure has been great, baby's heartbeat has been strong and the weight gain has been...well gaining!

I do know this...this pregnancy for a fall baby is WAY different then my nice cool pregnancy for my spring baby, Sarah.  Man- this heat brings things to a whole new level.

But overall it's been a great pregnancy so far.  Andy has been super helpful around the house and with Sarah and Sarah as been some what understanding when mommy isn't capable to do certain things or is felling too tired.

In other news, I was labeled today...AMA - Advanced Maternity Age!  ha! Yes, I will be the Maw-Maw in the the delivery room. Well, not really, my doctors insists that I not worry, but because I am 35 I am in this classification of mommy's.  I find it funny really...I mean my mom had twins a 35 and no one mentioned "advanced" age.  But it really does have me considering dying my hair for the first time in my life...ever!  After all...it's official now, I am "advanced" in age!

And here I am in all my AMA glory at 30 weeks pregnant.  :)

Girls day!

As I mentioned earlier, Andy has been doing some work on Saturday's lately due to a marketing promotion that Community Coffee has going on right now.  Sarah and I decided it was a great time to get with the Carroll girls for some fun before school started, so we all went to the movies.  It worked out well too that Coach Carroll had baseball that Saturday as well.  It was a great time for the all of us girls to get together while the daddy's worked!

Before the movie pic!

We watched "Turbo" today...super cute movie.  Sarah loves her some Carroll girls.
We had a great day with the Carroll girls and when we got home, daddy surprised us with flowers!!  Sarah and I were feeling the love!

Too Hot to Cook!

Helloooo summer!!  Hellloooo pregnancy!!  I don't want to cook!!  We really try to limit our eating out...but some days, you just have to give in and today, Andy was all on board for going out to eat.  After dinner we even stopped for some frozen yogurt!  Yummy!  Just what this momma needed!

Got Mosquitoes??

Ummmm....no, she didn't get bit THAT many times!  She did get a few bites but then insisted on band aids for bruises as well.  OY!  You know a band aid and a kiss fixes it all!

Mommy and Sarah Day

Andy has had to work a few Saturdays here lately due to a sales promotion they are having with Community Coffee, so Sarah and I planned a mommy and Sarah day.  We did a little shopping and then headed to the mall food court to ride the carousel and have lunch.

Sarah choose to ride the bunny for her first ride.

And then  yes, she choose the ostrich for her second ride?!?  HUH!?  Ok!

We had a fun day!

NOLA Roots

Suzette gave Sarah this Tulane T-shirt last Christmas and it now fits her.  Sarah has been going through a stage of wanting to sleep in t-shirts and tonight she picked this one.
My dad, who was born and raised in New Orleans...actually blocks from Tulane, was a huge Green Wave fan and I know he would have loved to see Sarah in this shirt- getting back to her New Orleans roots.

Red, White and Zoo

So the BR Zoo was suppose to be having this great Red, White and Zoo event today for the Fourth of July....wellllll it was very dissappointing to say the least!  The events that they advertised didn't happen, but we made the best of it.

Love that smile!

July 3rd/4th

With the fourth of July holiday falling on a weekday, we once again this year popped some fireworks on the third.  We also once again went to mom's house - where it is legal to do such a thing.

We were just going to pop a few...then we brought Sarah with us to the fireworks stand...big mistake!  We ended up with more fireworks than we originally planned.

She loves the show...not the noise!

Todd, Sealy, Sarah and myself enjoying the show that Andy and Jeff put on for us.

"Bout to blow up some stuff!"

Sarah assisting Uncle Jeff with the poppers.
After the fireworks, we headed home.  July fourth we spent at home very relaxed - cooked a few burgers and just enjoyed the day off.
We did get to talk to Mike on FaceTime!

And then mom called and we put her on speaker...so it was kind of like we were all together. ;)  Love this moment that Andy captured on his phone.

Sarah and I ended the afternoon with a nap...we are really good at napping together!

Headed Home!

Today we headed back home.  We piled up in Uncle Jeff's car and got on the road early.

My turn to drive....Jeff's turn to entertain. ;)

Poor thing was so tired!  She fought it for a long time, but finally konked out.  Oh have I mentioned how awful booster seats are for sleeping...ugh!
So long Oklahoma!  We had a wonderful time...just like we always do!  Until next time red dirt road.

One Last Day in Oklahoma

Today Jeff and I headed to Sherman, TX for our grandfather's funeral and then back to Coalgate after services.  It was a long day, but I am so thankful that it worked out that we were able to be there and Sarah was able to spend one more day with Grammy and Papa.  While Jeff and I were gone, Grammy sent me these pictures of them enjoying some ice cream.
