Yay!! Finally!! Such a great movie!

Photo bomb anyone?? So Father's Day lunch at Big Mike's and we see the Huffstetlers.  Poor Olivia tired a million times to get a good pic of her boys.  And wouldn't you know Andy and I jumped in the family pic  She was a good sport about it.

Orange Crush

We had to miss three softball games this week due to VBS. We kind of figured that would happen with all of the make up games still need to be played.  Tonight was Sarah's first time back on the field in a week.  And to be honest, I was a little worried with how she would do. Well....she nailed it!  A single, a double and a triple! WHAT!?!?! She had a great game!! So much fun to watch her play and have a blast while she's out on the field!

M.A.D. Camp

Sarah attended M.A.D. (Music Art and Drama) camp this week at church.  Huge thank you to Grandma for getting up each morning to meet me at our house and let the girls get a little extra sleep due to our late nights with VBS.  Sarah had a great time this week.  So proud of her for stepping out and trying something new.  She was in the Boom-whackers group..not her favorite instrument, but fun still the same.
The campers also had choir time each day.  Sarah really enjoyed this time.  She even tried out for a solo!!! WHAT!! Go Sarah!! Ms. Olivia said she did an amazing job! This year however, the solos went to the older kids.  So maybe next year!

Shipwrecked VBS Day 4

Last Day and oh what an awesome week it has been.  I LOVE VBS!!!
The Willows Bus! Had a great time listening to the chatter of our crew to and from VBS each day.

Going to miss these sweet little faces.

I consider it a blessing to be able to participate in VBS with my girls.  My heart is full!!

Shipwrecked VBS Day 3

Day Three...Hat Day!  Running on fumes energy wise...but we all are.  It's part of the fun of  VBS. HA!

Well with sooooo many four year olds, sometimes you just have to do a little Simon Says to fill the extra time before moving to the next rotation. The smiles seem to indicate they didn't mind.

Oh that smile!  Praising the Lord in the opening session of VBS.  "My Lighthouse"

Shipwrecked VBS Day 2

Day 2...Crazy Hair Day.  Which I completely forgot about until we picked up the Denicola kiddos.  By the time we get home, fed and bathed, we are getting to bed around 10:30 and then up and at 'em for me.  Luckily, Grandma is bringing Sarah to M.A.D. camp and Leah to daycare, so they are scooping up an extra hour or so of sleep.  Which will be huge by the end of the week!  No worries though, Sarah was a trooper and opted for the two top of the head jig tails for her crazy hair.  And Leah is not a fan of crazy hair.  So it was all good!

Sweet Cami was our youth helper and the kids loved her! And she was really a huge help.

Joel and Leah.  Oh and goofball Jai.

Leah and Abby.

GaGa Ball Pit was a kid favorite for VBS. The youth had asked for one of these pits before the flood.  And this past May, it happened.  The kids love it! Sarah was getting the hang of it.

Oh yeah...40 ish four year olds.

I really do miss Sarah and her friends.  I've been with them since they were all four.  But so happy I still get to see her and the rest of her age group.

Presley, Sarah and Emerie all smiles at the Imagination Station.

Shipwrecked VBS Day 1

We are super pumped to be in our new church building for VBS this year.  VBS is a family favorite at our house and this year brings about more new and never done experiences.  So let's do this!

A quick check in with Grandma who was working VBS registration.

Yep! Moved down to the four year old class to be with my sweet Leah.  Sarah was understanding since I had started with her when she was four.

Leah was CrAzY excited to have Rosalie join us at VBS.  She sure does miss her BFF since she left the daycare.

And look! Carter is here too!  Sweet reunion!

Oh boy! I forgot the energy needed for  40ish four year old vbs kiddos!

Sarah's second grade group was on the same rotations as our group.  This was awesome because we all got to see each other multiple times throughout the evening.

Sweet sisters loving VBS!

It's a preschool reunion!  It makes my heart smile to see these girls get together each year for VBS.

Orange Crush

YAY no rain! Finally!  Sarah's team has had FIVE games that had to be cancelled and rescheduled due to rain.  We were all smiles to get back at the ball park for some softball!
So fun seeing friends at the ball park.  Sarah and Sadie were happy to see each other.
