April... Shutdown Continues

Continuing our almost daily walks.

The girls found a new game on the iPad that is all puzzles. 

Teachers trying to get a video out to our kids letting them know we miss them!!

Yes, it is real! Why else would it be in a cage?!” Insert eye rolls from my offspring Now get over there so I can capture this rare moment when a dinosaur came through the neighborhood.

Some day they are so sweet and play so well with each other. And then other days...well, we've been together too much!!

The hammock was one of the best purchases we've made during the shut down!!

 Grammy has made us these oh so cute masks! We are ready if we ever get to go somewhere! 

Stay at Home Project...Painting!

Projects, projects and more projects! We've been out of school now for a month and a half. Many people have been taking care of those projects we've all put off because we didn't have the time. Well. Here we are ....What better time to paint Sarah's room?  She's been asking for a room makeover of sorts, so we are painting her room. She is super excited. 

Of course Leah wants hers painted too.  Not sure I can do two back to back. So I've promised to get Leah's painted before we go back to school...whenever that is. 

And while we were painting inside, Andy was working on the back patio. Notice the pond is gone??? Yep. Another project. Just keeping busy the best we can.

Another outing. We are getting pretty good with going places that are outdoors and aren't shut down.  Trying to keep the fun going. Today we headed to Baton Rouge. We visited LSU to feed the ducks...we haven't done this in a long time. Stopped by to see our favorite cat. And then headed to the Mississippi River levee. 

 

Zoom Life

We are all zooming! School, work, Sunday School, AA meetings, friends, you name it.  It's not our favorite way to be with people, but we are adjusting. It is nice to be able to talk and see someone outside of our household sometimes.
