Sarah and I enjoying a lunch date at Mr. Gatti's before we have to head back to school after semester break. 

And it begins. haha!  Sarah had just cleaned her room.  Little sister and their neighbor friends were coming over for a play date...she wanted to make sure her room stayed clean. 

Ari and Cami came over to play for a bit while their grandmother had to run some errands.  We are all still praying for their big sister Baylee as she is being treated at St. Jude.

Leah was thrilled to see Morgan at the girls basketball game tonight.  Morgan is so sweet to Leah and I just love that Leah looks up to this smart, courageous young lady. 

Leah's ToT at LSU

Leah has really enjoyed TOT this year.  She has done great learning her skills this semester.  Today is her performance at LSU during the halftime of the women's game.

Yellow Jacket Youth Basketball

Whoop! Whoop! We are out of the house!!! YAY!!!  Sarah is participating the Yellow Jacket Youth Basketball League this year.  This league is intended to get all the Denham Springs kiddos playing together at an early age, but also to build them in skills and knowledge of the game, not just throwing them one the court with a ball.  I am super excited about this league and hope it grows yearly.  Sarah and Presley are doing this together.  The league is for third through sixth grade, but I was able to get Sarah and Presley a spot and they are doing great!

Snowmageden Day 4

Turns out ice...not so good for south Louisiana.  Out of school again today.  Issues with busted pipes, ice patches still around campuses, all kinds of crazy at various school campuses.  

We (all of us in south Louisiana, not used to this stupid cold weather and being stuck indoors...foreverrrrrrr) are getting a little stir crazy. These are some of the funnier memes I ran across during the "Snowmageden"

Girls started entertaining me with their own puppet show of sorts.  It was pretty fun.  For about five minutes. haha!! OVER IT!!! 

Snowmageden Day 3

Thursday now.  Getting bored.  And if I have to play one more game of Candy Land...I might start crying. Ok, winter.  I am over it. Lets move on. 

Snowmageden Day 2

Another day off of school.  Still some snow on the ground, but mostly lots of ICE!!  If you keeping up, we went back to school January 9 from semester break....went to school for four days.  Were off on Monday the 16th for MLK, Jr Day and then the snow showed up Tuesday.   But it is SOOOOOOOO cold outside, there's not really much we can do outside.  The girls wanted to bake something, so we whipped up some brownies for Daddy when he got home. (Because you know he had to go to work.  I mean, community coffee and the mail man...rain, hail, sleet or snow!)

Snow...again!

We can hardly wait...but yet another snow day coming our way!! Yippeee!!!

Today's snow was a little different because it was a "night snow".  Andy was home with us due to the late evening start on the snow.  We again had so much fun in the snow.  We didn't last very long playing outside because it was super cold.  But WOW...two snows in one winter!! We had some happy girls.

Baggies over gloves secured with rubber bands...yep we learned how to survive since our snow from last month.  Even pulled out the rain boots! We are almost pros at this winter stuff!

Andy's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Andy!!  We love you!! And when Leah gets the opportunity to "decorate" your cake...you get pink and purple icing.  :)
