DSHS vs Ruston - Round 3 of Playoffs - Blackout

 Round Three! Hasn't been done many times for our Yellow Jackets and we are here for it this time. Tonight's game theme is black out and and we are still riding high off of that second round win. The game shirts are perfect. 70726 is our Denham Springs Zip Code and an ode to the early fireworks...perfection. The Yellow Jackets season would end tonight, but not after a super memorable season by a great group of seniors who led the way for this team.  Just something about those Friday Night Lights in a small town. (we like to still think we are a small town anyway) 

Thanksgiving in OK

We spent the week in Edmond for Thanksgiving. Lots of time with cousins and time spent with family does the soul good. We had a great visit. 

Sydnee added JV in the picture for us. Basketball at Abilene Christian has him pretty busy at this time of year. We did miss having him with us.

Christmas Tree Fun at Grandma's House

Continuing the tradition of decorating Grandma's tree and baking up some sweet treats to get in the Christmas swing of things. We had such a great day to today getting Grandma's house ready and watching Amelia get all excited with each ornament. 

Ummm..not exactly what we were going for. 

 

LSU v UAB

We have a football problem...and we admit it. After a late night coming home from the DSHS playoff game in north Louisiana, we headed out to LSU today in the rain and cold to watch the Tigers play. We made it to halftime before we decided we'd rather not freeze completely to death.
