Photo Drop

Whew! May was a busy, busy time. And I loved it all!!

Sarah had her Dare Graduation.

Leah was so excited to write and mail a letter to her first grade teacher, Mrs. Colvin.

Excited to have a "normal" DSHS Graduation this year. We are back on our campus and graduating kids at a normal time of the year.

Last Wet N Wild PBIS for these girls at NSE.

Leah was loving her first Wet N Wild day! (Last year did not happen due to the shutdown). So thankful they are getting to enjoy these great memory making times of school!

DSHS Math Department. Losing three great ones this year....Wynn Wingate, Amy Flake and Chris McCleary.

Feeling Fancy.

Crawfish...Yes, please!

Taking advantage of a reason to have more crawfish. Mike is home and it's Memorial Day weekend. While others are having BBQ...we go for crawfish!

The water balloon fight in the front yard was probably everyone's favorite activity of the day. Thanks Uncle Jeff!

Pausing to Remember: Memorial Day

The Blue Star moms of Baton Rouge display these flags every year for Memorial Day at the Louisiana State Capitol. I have wanted to bring the girls here for a few years now, but wanted to make sure they were old enough to know its meaning. It is such a powerful image.  We are so thankful for the men and women who have given their life for the freedoms we enjoy today. God Bless America!

LSU Softball Regional vs Florida St

Uncle Mike is in town for Memorial Day weekend and we couldn't be happier!! So of course we had to go to a game.  LSU softball was playing in the Super Regional against Florida State. We got on the berm again...which the girls love! I think they like the freedom that comes with sitting out there.  They may have played more on the hill than actually watching the game but still had a great time. The Lady Tigers fell short, but it was a great game!!!

Fun on the Diamond

YAY! Time to head to the ballpark.  Leah is starting coaches pitch this year and she is super excited about it too! She is playing for the "Cheetahs".  Sarah is happy to be back on the diamond as well and is playing with friends that she has played with for a few years now, they are the "Tigers". It's set up to be a busy but fun time.  Check out that game schedule! Whew!
